Step into the driver’s seat and test your skills in Ricmotech’s Fast Lap Challenge—a high-energy, time-trial racing simulator activation designed to ignite competition and draw crowds. Participants race against the clock, aiming to set the quickest lap time on a virtual track, with live leaderboards showcasing top performers.

How It Works

Registration

Guests sign in at our touchscreen kiosk, providing their name, contact information, and driving preferences.

Badge Issuance

Each participant receives a personalized QR-coded badge, which can be integrated with event credentials or promotional items.

Orientation

Our Simulator Pit Crew assists drivers in adjusting their seats and familiarizing themselves with the controls.

Race Session

Drivers compete in a 2-4 lap session against AI opponents, striving for the fastest single lap time.

Live Leaderboard

Results are displayed in real-time on large screens, featuring driver names, lap times, and rankings.

Recognition & Rewards

Top drivers can win on-site prizes or post-event follow-ups adding an extra layer of excitement and incentive for participation.

FAQs

Our simulators come with experienced techs/operators who will be on hand to assist event attendees. We call these our Simulator Pit Crew.

As long as the barcode or QR code is unique for each person then it can be used. If additional information is included in the QR code then we can capture that data and prefill the registration form.

No, the time-trial sessions are isolated to prevent drivers from interfering with their opponents.

Our simulators have a wide range of difficulty settings meaning we can adjust for an unforgettable experience for any skill set. Our technicians will pre-determine a suitable difficulty level based on the target  demographic.

The minimum rental period is one day. Additional time is in half-day increments.

Yes, the simulator hardware and the game can be customized with client branding. The available locations vary depending on the simulator and game used.

Time-Trails can be done with a single-screen or a triple-screen simulator and the simulator can be motion or motionless.

Track Day

Virtual Track Day

A virtual track day using racing simulators offers an immersive and thrilling experience for racing enthusiasts without the need for a physical race track or a real race car. It combines the realism of racing simulations with the convenience and accessibility of virtual reality technology, allowing participants to feel the adrenaline of high-speed racing right at your booth space.

Participants have no set time restriction in this configuration. They are free to drive at their own pace or can drive door-to-door with their colleagues. Optionally, lap times can be recorded for amusement purposes only.

The optional driver check-in kiosk collects leads and is essential when recording lap times.
Participants can simply enjoy a solo driving experience or race against each other in this multiplayer session.
Lap times set by drivers are recorded on the optional leaderboard for bragging rights.

This service comes with at least one experienced tech/operator to run the activation.

SubieFest Florida 2022

This was the third annual SubieFest Florida held at Daytona International Speedway. Subaru rolled out their hospitality trailer equipped with three Ricmotech simulators. Ricmotech ambassadors Frank and Jose were on-site to tune the simulators and make sure everything was performing in tip top shape. Pro drivers Scott Speed and Bucky Lasek were there to show participants how the pros do it. A good time was had by all.

The event was Super Trofeo Saturday for clients and the public to come in to watch the Watkins Glen Super Trofeo race on a giant video wall, enjoy food and drinks by Exquisite Catering and, of course, drive on Ricmotech simulators for a chance to win a certificate for a complete detail and ceramic coating for your car compliments of Image Auto Detailing.

Fast Expo - Jan 2020

The Formula and Automobile Racing Association (FARA) was looking to increase spectator attendance at their races. They secured a booth at Fast Expo, a local show for racers in the Miami area and were giving away tickets. FARA partnered with Ricmotech to attract more guest and give them the experience of what it’s like to drive a race car. Consequently, there was a line all day long of drivers waiting to take their turn to drive a professional simulator. Furthermore, to give everyone a taste of what they would be driving, One Third Racing had their Daytona Prototype on display just on the other side of the booth. The event was a huge success. Hundreds of tickets were handed out to the crowd.
