How long does each driver take?

We configure each event with a curated car-and-track combination and assign a set number of laps per driver. Typically, sessions run between two and five minutes, depending on your desired throughput. But what truly sets our experience apart is our proprietary IntRAX timing and scoring platform.

IntRAX uses dynamic time limits to automatically adjust each session in real time — giving skilled drivers the full window to showcase their abilities while shortening runs for less experienced drivers. The result? A smoother flow, maximized throughput, and an engaging, fair experience for every participant.

Can the simulators be used outdoors?

Yes — our simulators are absolutely outdoor-ready. Designed with high-brightness displays reaching up to 4000 nits and advanced anti-glare technology, they deliver crystal-clear visibility even in bright daylight. And for multi-day events or unpredictable weather, we’ve got you covered with protective equipment that keeps all electronics safe and secure.

For the best outdoor experience, we recommend placing simulators in shaded areas to optimize screen visibility and reduce glare. They also perform best on flat, solid surfaces to ensure maximum stability — making grass and gravel less ideal options.

Can Ricmotech capture participant leads during an event?

Absolutely. Ricmotech’s systems are designed not only to entertain but to help you generate valuable, actionable leads.

Every participant creates a driver profile through our sleek, touchscreen kiosk — entering their name, email, category (such as customer or staff), and even their shifting preference (manual or automatic). This makes the experience feel personalized while giving you clean, structured data for follow-up.

For trade shows and industry events, we take this a step further. Our platform can integrate with many badge-scanning systems, allowing us to instantly capture attendee credentials and forward those leads directly into your existing lead-capture scanners. No manual entry, no delays — just seamless, high-quality lead generation built right into the racing experience.

Do attendants accompany the simulator activation?

All simulator activations include Ricmotech staffing. Our staff will set up the activation and be present should any technical issues arise.

Having our staff handle the simulators means your staff can handle what you do best, interact with attendees. 

If you would like your staff to engage with participants of the simulator activation, our attendants will gladly train your staff to assist in the activation.

Do the simulators require internet connection?

Public event venues often have congested, unreliable, or slow internet connections. To ensure smooth performance, our simulator activations run on a dedicated local wired network that we set up as needed — no internet connection is required.

While wireless networks and open Wi-Fi are sometimes available, they have not proven reliable enough for our activations.

However, if you choose to include the souvenir photo option and want participants to share their photos instantly, an internet connection would be required.

Can small children use the simulators?

Drivers must be 42 inches tall to reach the pedals. However, children that cannot reach the pedals are welcome to sit on a parent's lap to drive.

How far do you travel to do these activations?

We are based in Florida, but we are able to bring the activation nationwide.

Can drivers race against each other?

Yes, our simulators can be set up for head-to-head racing. While two simulators is the minimum, we recommend four or more simulators to make the competition more interesting.

Where can branding be placed on the simulators?

Corporate branding can be placed at various location within the activation.
